Ballyseede Castle: Aidan + Moire

Aidan and Moire’s wedding was definitely the event of the year for me, I knew it was going to be amazing around 6 months ago when I started getting regular updates from Moire on the little details and from listening to her stories about how tough and time consuming planning a wedding can be. I will admit however when I walked into the ballroom of Ballyseede castle for the first time my jaw dropped. The castle is shear class, everything about it down to the littlest details is amazing and unique.

Aidan was a cool customer but I’ve never seen a groom swing his bride around a dance floor like he did, one of the best first dances I’ve seen. It was a long journey but in the end I got to shoot an amazing wedding and made a great friend along the way.

Love the “tweaky” bits. Powerful use of monochrome. Rock on!

Ring of Kerry Wedding: Tommy + Mary

Tommy and Mary got married in one of the most amazing churches in south west Kerry, O’ Connell Memorial church in Cahersiveen. I’ve really only gotten to know Tommy and Mary in the last year since I shot their engagement session last summer. They’ve fed me and made me more cups of coffee than I could ever want, from meeting them out on random nights to planning their wedding photos I got to know them fairly well. The network of great friends they’ve made through the years is actually amazing. And what can I say about the Dingle gang, if we could have stayed for a few drinks afterwards we probably would’ve stayed drinking for the whole weekend.

The reception took place in the Ring of Kerry hotel, the food was amazing, the craic was flying and the sun was shining.
